General Ticket Questions

What kind of tickets do I need to enter the festival?

 

General Admission

1 Event Pass per person + 1 Camping or Parking Pass per vehicle = OK!

 

VIP

1 VIP Pass per person + camping included with VIP = OK!

 

 

NOTE: Camping is included in the VIP ticket cost, so there is no need to purchase any additional camping passes with VIP if you are coming in a standard vehicle such a car, truck or SUV.

While RVs are allowed in VIP camping, the purchase of a separate $299 “RV PASS for VIP” is required. After you add VIP tickets to your shopping cart, you will be prompted to add an “RV PASS for VIP” to your purchase. NO water or electric hookups are available in VIP Camping. “Festival” includes the concerts, activities, campgrounds, and parking lots. You cannot enter the festival – or any part of the festival – without an Event Pass per person and a Camping/Parking Pass per vehicle. You cannot come without an Event Pass and “just tailgate with friends.”

General Admission

Each person entering the festival requires their own Event Pass such as Three Day, Two Day or Single Day. All ages, from newborns to grannies, require a paid admission ticket for Three Day and Two Day Passes. Specially priced Single Day Passes for children ages 12 and younger will be available for purchase in March.

In addition to each person having their own Event Pass, every vehicle entering the festival requires a Camping or Parking Pass such as Main Venue, West Woods, or Day Parking. Up to 5 people can ride in one vehicle and split the cost of camping or parking. RVs and other oversized vehicles require an RV Pass.

VIP

Each person entering the festival requires their own VIP Pass. Specially priced Children VIP tickets are available for children ages 1 through 16.

Camping is included in the VIP ticket cost, so there is no need to purchase any additional camping passes with VIP if you are coming in a normal sized vehicle such a car, truck or SUV.

While RVs are allowed in VIP camping, the purchase of a separate $299 “RV PASS for VIP” is required. What kind of ticket do I need for my vehicle?

Up to 5 people may ride in one vehicle and split the cost of the Camping or Parking Pass.

Am I allowed to exit and re-enter the festival? Are gates open 24 hours?
Yes. You can enter and exit the festival, but please be advised that you will have to go through the security checkpoint each time. Keep in mind that Mulberry Mountain is a very secluded and rural site with the closest town being 30 minutes away or further.

Gates are NOT open 24 hours at Thunder on the Mountain. Gates will be open during the following hours only:

Thursday, June 6 – 6:00 am to 12:01 am (midnight)
Friday, June 7 – 8:00 am to 12:01 am (midnight)
Saturday, June 8 – 8:00 am to 12:01 am (midnight)

In a nutshell: whether you’re coming, going or staying, your curfew is at midnight each night. Be home before curfew, and we’ll let ya back into the festival. Otherwise you’ll be waiting till morning.

Are kids free?
No. All ages, from newborns to grannies, require a paid admission ticket for Three Day and Two Day Passes. Specially priced Single Day Passes for children ages 12 and younger will be available for purchase in March.

Specially priced VIP Children’s Passes are available if you are going VIP.

VIP Tickets

What do VIP tickets include?
VIP tickets are all inclusive and come with: meals, beverage service, bathroom & shower facilities, exclusive upfront viewing at the main stages, VIP Pavilion and Lounge, super friendly VIP staff to assist you with settling into the festival, and free camping in the shaded VIP campground for standard vehicles. You do NOT need to purchase any additional camping passes with VIP if you are bringing a car, van, truck or SUV.

RVs are allowed in VIP camping, the purchase of a separate $299 “RV PASS for VIP” is required. After you add VIP tickets to your shopping cart, you will be prompted to add an “RV PASS for VIP” to your purchase. NO water or electric hookups are available in VIP Camping. Are children free in VIP?
No. Children are NOT free in VIP. Specially priced Children’s VIP Passes are available for ages 1-16. Adults ages 17 and older require a VIP Full Event Pass or VIP Three Day Pass. Please visit our Ticket Page for VIP Children’s prices.
Do VIP tickets increase in price like Three Day Passes?
No. VIP will not increase in price but quantities are extremely limited! Get your VIP tickets early as they tend to sell out months in advance.
I have VIP tickets but my friend(s) do not. Can they camp with me in VIP? Can they visit my campground?
No. The VIP campground is a “gated community” in order to protect the many perks of the VIP Program: shaded camping, meals, beverage service, bathroom facilities, and VIP lounge. ONLY VIP Pass holders can enter the VIP campground. VIP Pass holders are more than welcome to camp with their friends in primitive, non-VIP camping.
I have VIP tickets; do I need to purchase any Camping Passes?

RVs

What do you consider an RV?

Do I need an extra pass for my RV?
Yes. All vehicles considered an “RV” (see above question) require an RV Unreserved Camping Pass, Reserved Campsite or RV PASS for VIP. All vehicles with an RV Unreserved Pass are required to park in the designated RV Unreserved Campground.

Any vehicle that requires an RV Pass but arrives on site without an RV Pass will be turned around. This rule is strictly enforced, and absolutely NO exceptions are made.

Are there hookups available? Are generators allowed?
Water and Electric hookups are available for Reserved Campsites ONLY. Please note that Reserved Campsites are extremely limited in number and sell out well in advance.

RV Unreserved does NOT include any water or electric hookups. Small or silent generators are allowed. A free water/dump station is located on the Main Festival Venue, however it is not readily accessible once the venue is rockin’. Purchasing Tickets

It's been four hours on the processing page...I never received confirmation of my ticket order...I never saw a charge on my account... Is my order complete?
Your order may have not completed successfully… oops! I found tickets/wristbands on Ebay/Craigslist, should I buy them?
TICKETS: Buyer beware when purchasing from a third party such as Ebay or Craigslist; tickets purchased through these avenues CANNOT BE GUARANTEED. WRISTBANDS: DO NOT PURCHASE WRISTBANDS FROM ANY INDVIDUAL FOR ANY REASON; THEY ARE NOT VALID!
Are payment plans available?
Yes. A Payment plan is available up until March 15, 2013 for purchasing Three Day Passes and VIP Three Day Passes with 3 easy payments. You must create and sign into your online account when purchasing through the payment plan. 1/3 of the base price plus all service and shipping fees are due at the time of purchase, and the remaining 1/3 payments are deducted automatically from your stored credit card on April 1 and May 1, 2013. I need to change/cancel my order, what do I do?
ALL TICKET SALES ARE FINAL; NO CANCELLATIONS, REFUNDS or EXCHANGES for ANY REASON. For all other changes (i.e. address changes, Will Call name changes, etc.), contact Pipeline Ticketing at (785) 749-3434, 10am-6pm central, Monday-Friday or info@ThunderOnTheMountain.com AT LEAST one week prior to the festival. Any ticket issues within 1 week of the festival need to be addressed at the on-site Box Office.
Someone stole my tickets, what do I do?
File a police report and contact Pipeline Ticketing at (785) 749-3434, 10am-6pm central, Monday-Friday or info@ThunderOnTheMountain.com. Have a scanned or electronic copy of the police report ready.
I lost my tickets, I washed my tickets, my roommate threw away my tickets... What do I do?
Treat your tickets as if they are cash. Lost or damaged tickets will NOT be reissued; this policy will be strictly enforced. Keep tickets in a cool, dry and safe place. Think about it: if you lose money after taking it out of the ATM, can you get new money from the bank? No. If you lose an item after buying it at Walmart, can you get the item replaced or get a refund, even with a receipt? No.

 

PrintPass

My PrintPass did not arrive but I have a receipt, what should I do?
First, remain calm. Did you check your spam/junk folder? If your PrintPasses are not there either, do not fret as you have an order confirmation. DO NOT PURCHASE NEW TICKETS; YOU WILL NOT BE REFUNDED FOR MAKING MULTIPLE ORDERS. Contact Pipeline Ticketing at (785) 749-3434, 10am-6pm central, Monday-Friday, or info@ThunderOnTheMountain.com AT LEAST one week prior to the festival. Any ticket issues within 1 week of the festival need to be addressed at the on-site Box Office.
My PrintPass did not print correctly, can I print again?
Yes. You can access your PrintPasses up to five times. But before trying to print again, check that you have enough ink in your printer and the latest Adobe PDF reader. If you are still having troubles printing at home, contact Pipeline Ticketing at (785) 749-3434, 10am-6pm central, Monday-Friday, or info@ThunderOnTheMountain.com AT LEAST one week prior to the festival. Where do I exchange my tickets for wristbands and vehicle stickers?
Every person who is first entering the festival needs to visit one of our Toll Booths. Toll Booths are where you exchange your Event Pass tickets for wristbands, and Camping Pass tickets for windshield stickers. All patrons must FIRST go through one of the Toll Booths BEFORE proceeding to your camping area or day parking lot.

Thunder on the Mountain has two Toll Booths: North Toll Booth and South Toll Booth. Toll Booth Maps and Hours of Operation are coming soon!

What should I pack? How do I get there? Which Toll Booth should I go to?

When is the Box Office at the festival open? Where is the Box office located?
Thunder on the Mountain has two Box Offices: North Box Office and South Box Office

North Box Office – located 8 miles north of the Main Festival Venue, the North Box Office will be open:

What is your fine print?
“Thunder on the Mountain” includes Pipeline Productions Inc., OK Productions Inc., Mulberry Mountain Lodging and Events LLC, and their affiliates. “Festival” includes the concerts and concert areas, stage areas, activities and activity areas, shopping areas, campgrounds, parking lots, and any other area or activity deemed as “festival” by Thunder on the Mountain.

ALL SALES ARE FINAL. NO REFUNDS or EXCHANGES for ANY REASON. All acts, times and locations are subject to change without notice. You are buying ticket(s) to the festival, not to see a single band; artist cancellation of any kind is not grounds for a refund. Festival is RAIN or SHINE; Thunder on the Mountain reserves the right to limit stage sets during severe weather. Your safety is our #1 concern.

Thunder on the Mountain has in-house photography and video staff roaming the festival grounds for footage. Ticket users consent to their image being used by Thunder on the Mountain, especially if you stop and pose for the media staff.

You exchange your ticket for a wristband; wristbands are VOID if removed, exchanged, transferred, tampered or altered in any way (including cutting off the excess fabric). Counterfeited tickets and/or wristbands will be confiscated, and the persons holding, using, wearing or selling counterfeit ticket(s) and/or wristband(s) will be ejected from the festival and are subject to prosecution under local, state and federal laws.

Use caution when enjoying the many activities at the festival; participation in any activities are at your sole discretion. Thunder on the Mountain cannot be held liable for any injuries or property damage that result from your participation in these activities.

All persons determined by Thunder on the Mountain to be acting in an illegal, offensive or disorderly fashion will be ejected from the festival without refund. All persons and vehicles are subject to a security search for illegal or prohibited contraband. If you are removed from the festival for any reason, you will not be allowed back into the festival even with the purchase of a new ticket.

The same people who operate all of Pipeline Ticketing are the same people who run the Box Office during the festival. Any and all last minute ticket issues need to be addressed at the Box Office directly. “Last minute” includes trying to contact Pipeline Ticketing via phone or email from Saturday June 1 through Saturday June 8, and “ticket issues” includes anything related to tickets, purchased tickets, and attempted ticket purchases to the Thunder on the Mountain Country Music Festival. While we at Pipeline Ticketing have every intention to answer the phones and email account during the festival, it is NOT guaranteed as we are busy running the Thunder on the Mountain Box Offices. All ticket sales are final! There are no refunds for “I tried to get a hold of you, but no one answered.” Come see us at the Box Office, we’re there to help you!
